Hawaii Island police are searching for Josh Figueroa, 34, who is wanted on a bench warrant.

Hawaii Island police are searching for Josh Figueroa, 34, who is wanted on a bench warrant.

According to police, Figueroa violated terms of a deferred plea in an assault and unlawful imprisonment case. He is also wanted for questioning in connection with another incident.

Figueroa, whose last known address was in Hilo, is roughly 6 foot, 210 pounds with brown eyes and dark brown hair.

Anyone with information on Figueroa’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311 or call Detective Robert Almeida at 961-2386. Almeida can also be reached via email at robert.almeida@hawaiicounty.gov.

Informants who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers, a volunteer organization that keeps all information confidential, at 961-8300. Tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
